Hello I just registered after browsing this site for a while now.
I used to race VW buggies and a rotary powered Baja in my youth but have been away from the VW world for a long time now.
Just towed a smashed up combi home tonight so I can rob it of its vitals to make another buggy to blast about the bush. Getting too old for bikes these days and this wreck was cheap.

Where abouts you from?

I am down near Corowa right on the Murray river. Just finnished pulling the motor out of the combi and having a bite to eat before cutting the rear suspension out.
Motor runs well considering it has been sitting since the smash back in August.
