Last Monday I bought my first dub, a white 2 seater custom convertible beetle for $2000. I think it's 1967 or earlier, not sure, but it is licenced, running, and oh ... so ... noisy

It needs a bit of work, am getting the canvas top repaired and windows made for it, it has a leaking exhaust, and will need a respray sooner or later, but for now it is oh ... so ... noisy

Both floorpans need replacing, something which I'll hopefully do myself along with my brother, who's a welder by trade.



Really needs some panelwork and a full respray, lots of minor stuff, but that will be down the track. For now I'll just try to get her running a little more smoothly, has been running too rich and is suspect has a leaking exhaust, and to fix up the floorpans. Oh, and get the radio properly installed.
