hi everyone, thought i better introduce myself.I am new to th vw scene and its very addictive.I have a 71 type 3 squareback that has seen better days.I have had a string of hipo Jap rockets but my old vw has character.Looking forward to some shows and meeting people.
I am getting quotes for a new motor at present... any recommendations? Has anyone had their motor built by VW engineering in Laidly QLD,so far they are the most competative.
Cheers
Scott

hey Scott, welcome to the forum mate!
Sorry, can't help on the motor side of things....that is a hurdle that I am yet to get to, but I am also interested to hear what peoples suggestions are
All the best mate.....love the type 3 by the way....Type '3's are THE VW in my opinion  (no offense to non Tpye 3 owners of course!)

Scott,

If that's a genuine panel van, you are one very lucky guy. there weren't many made.

Please fill in your location info. "from the bush" is a bit vague.

Regards,

Matt.
