Hi people
Just joined AussieVeeDubbers, owner of a couple of Kombi's
Thombie - 76 late bay microbus 8 seater and
Herman - 71 lowlight 4 seater camper (non poptop)
Been a member on another forum for kombi's (which was full of info that has been invaluable)
I'm now after a beetle so I'm now stretching the legs after some new info on other VW's
Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.
Cheers Corey
welcome fellow veedubber to another forum full of information. good luck finding yer Beetle. Got anything particular in mind?
ideally something from the 60's
Nothing show room or so original it suits a true collector. This would be used as a daily drive.
a white 64 was the first car me and my wife bought together and we still have great memories of that car. Even rebuilding the motor with my dad after
we cooked it
forgive me, we were just kids who didn't know anything about such things as checking oil.
So far I'm just getting an idea on things. I spent almost a year doing the same before I got my first kombi and I don't regret the research and
wait.
Thought i'd put a quick photo of my kombi's:
The red and black on is a 76 - 8 seater microbus deluxe called Thombie and is my daily
The white one is a 71 called herman.
Thombie again
