Hi all.My name is Ben,I live in Sydney.I have owned a few VWs.Some air,some water cooled.My current vehicle is an 89 Syncro that I am putting a 2001 EJ25 engine into.
I have a question for those who have done a similar conversion.Any info is greatly apprieciated.
Is there anyway of getting around the Subaru security in Europeon/Aussie Subarus.
I know of the ''tape the key,to the barrel case'' way,but does anyone know of anyway just to by-pass the immobolizer altogether,or is this not at all possible.Thankyou,Happy Easter.

i think with alot of those later chipped setups the ECU looks for the signal from the transponder in the key head so the key has to be there

best to talk to Al or Miles from Amauto, they know these things backwards
