Hi all,
I've just aquired my grandfather's 1960 model Beetle. He stopped driving in 2001 & had owned it for about 30yrs. the poor old thing has had more hits than Elvis & I think that it/he/she may end up being like grandfather's axe by the time we're done. both my boy's are very exited to have the beetle here in the back yard. We are toying with Herbie or some other Custom version for the little car. It has arrived after a long line of classic MINIs & other assorted cars this will be a bit of a different project.
I'm sure there are cheaper & easier ways to get a Beetle but this one has quite a family history.
