Hello Australia !

I'm visiting Sydney between 20th and 26th November.

Little bit about my self. I’m a second generation aircooled v-dubber from Finland. I bought my first car 1999 when I was 18 years old. The car was a -66 beetle and I still own it. The -66 is in original shape. It’s as high as a Golf crosscountry

Last summer a also drove with my lowered -61 ratlooker beetle. I also own couple of projects: a -51 beetle and a -66 samba bus.

I already read that Rodstock Car Show & Swap Meet 21st November, 2010 will be hold at Hubertus country club. Is this something for a aircooled v-dub enthusiast?

Is there any other vw-events, club meetings, vw-shops etc. arranged nearby Sydney city during my visit? If I could see and meet one vw and its owner, my trip to Australia would be perfect.

Hi,
i'm probably going to rodstock in my razor,
with a few others from western sydney, VW's & others,
its a fair way from the city, ( 50 + klms )
anyone coming out this way on the day that might pick him up ?

Sounds great that there will be some v-dubs at Rodstock.
Let's see if there is someone coming from Sydney city so I might get a ride to the meeting.

My hotel is located on Philip street.

If there is no one driving to Rodstock from Sydney city, so do you know how much are costs for a rental car?
