baja bug

i have just aqquired a baja bug ,,,and having trouble , finding out what year it is and engine size ,,,someone said it could b a 1968,,i have seen a 1968 and it doesnt look like one ,,i think it's an earlier one ...it has a 5 stud wheel pattern ,and is 4 wheel drum brakes ,,
here are the chasis No's ---- *195103880*,,and here is the engine No's -----7765512 ----anyone out there know what year and engine size bug would be ???

Welcome and my thoughts are its a 65 model off the chassis number, but others please correct me if I am wrong.

thx for that kev ,,,,ye a mate said he wondered if the third No along was the year ?? Im new on here , and as u can c , i dont know much about v w's .suppose u have to learn somewhere ,,,thx again ,,,
