Hi all,

i was reading the link on another forum to Micheal Nashs car build and discovered this place,so I have signed up so I can see what you all are doing, already read some build up threads, looks like there are some nice cars being built there:-)
I have meet a few of the members on here mainly on trips to the USA but for those who dont know me.
I suppose I am a aircooled VW nut through and through,my main enjoyment is the drag racing side but anything from stock to wild does it for me.
My own car is a RHD cabrio I have owned for 18+ years now and is in a constant development of trying to go quicker.I do most of my own work and also build engines and cars for other people, mainly Russell Ritchie@VWgasser garage in scotland at the moment restoring old VW gassers and cal lookers.

Welcome Richie!
There is a lot of info and history on this site.
Hope all is well with you and your car,
and I am sure that a lot of the site members would love to see and hear about the technical details of your car,
and also what projects russel is working on.
Dave.

Ritchie , welcome to the land down under . I tried to call you several times last week while I was in the US with no sucess . I see that there was a shit fight happening on the other site and would like to know that you and the car are both doing well . I only caught the end of it all and hope it was all a mis-understanding . I look forward to the day that the airline you and Jo travel on will have to make a detour to us so you can see how lucky we are down here , ROD.

Hi Rod,
been back in england a week or so now, lathough I managed to break my phone so have a new number now.

I am good,it was a typical case of someone posting bullshit and everyone else claiming they knew everything when they knew nothing!!!
Anyway apart from the cold we are both healthy and happy and ready for christmas,I have every intention of coming to visit one day with the car as well:-)

cheers richie,uk
