Hey my names Ben and im 14. Ive been bitten by the bug and im about to
buy my first 1970 beetle. My brother has almost finished
restoring is 72 Lowlight Kombi and i just wanted to say hello to everybody by
joining and posting this thread.
If anyone has any good advice all is welcome.

Welcome Ben, I'm from Central Victoria, good to see your starting off young, I am new to this forum as well, I haven't found a Beetle yet but have been looking hard, I want to turn one into a Baja bug. Make shore you post some pics when you make your purchase. Kombi's rock as well, might be my next project

cheers mate, yea im really happy that i can get this beetle for such a low price and in such good condition, problem is im about $600 short and that'll take a while for me to save up
on my current wage, seeing as how i only earn 12/h bucks at one job and 10/h at another and i havent been called to work for about 3 weeks. and i will definitely post some pictures of her up. at the moment im trying to think of a name for it. im thinking Lola because i really like the name and the song by the kinks reminds me of VeeDubs

Lola, .........................I like it for a name, the Kinks rock, can't get that song out of my head now ..... L O L A, thats my Lola ....... Pay may seem like slave labour at your young age, but stick it out, if its a good car it will be worth it. You'll be cruizing the streets looking cool in Lola before you know it.
