Hello All,

This place is awesome and so inspirational. I have spent so many hours in this last week looking and reading.

I have a Fastback which sort of became a garden ornament.

About 20 years ago I moved interstate and lost the keys so the only place my parents could put the fastback was through the carport out into the yard and under a tree. It has sat there for all that time, and of course being a Volkwsagen it is still in awesome condition. I was the second owner when I bought it.

There wasn't anything wrong with it besides a small dent in the door. I am inspired to get it going and giving it some tender loving care that it deserves.

I also have a Bug, roadster convertable look. I think it's a late 60's that was under another tree, a branch broke off and went through the soft top, so it got pretty wet inside, but thats another story..

Look forward to making some great VW mates and doing some VW healings to keep them on the road.

hey mate, great to hear you are planning to save those vws of yours, we are comming up to adelaide in may and have organised a cruise, be great to see a new face comming along, if you have some free time that is check it out in the comming events
