short time member, long time idiot. I've been a Beetle fan since, like, ages ago. 'Monty' is my '72 one-lady-owner 1302S and has served me well since '97. I named him after the first muzak to be heard on his beatbox which was Spiderbait. He has been resting under cover for the last few years with the odd outing but I reckon he needs to get back on the road sooner than later.

Oh, yeah...

I spent a little bit of time with the VW Club of SA, but spent most of my time with Volks Enthusiasts. I'm a 'retired' ski instructor and now a student of Psychology. I played drums for years but have picked up the Fender so I can grow my hair longer and kick a hole in the sky. My plans for the 'dub is to upgrade the motor to something a little more powerful (my lil' bro has a weber-fed 1835cc in his '64 that has plenty of poke), though have had these plans on the cards since last century. I reckon some Fuch alloys would be enough to keep me stylin' so if anybody wants to flog me a set then so bet it.
