Hi all!
Just thought I'd say hello, new to the forum and new to the wonderful world of Beetle ownership. (Other than my Missus and her new style Beetle)
Just got my first ever restoration project, its a 1968 in need of lots of care and attention!
As I'm new to this I'll be asking loads of questions and hopefully benefitting from the vast amount of knowledge and experience on this site!

It's a chop top convertible..........I know that some people frown upon them but it has rego and a re-built engine and I got it for a reeeally good
price.
Plus I like the idea of (with lots of hard work) eventually putting something back on the road that would have only have rusted away.
Oh and thanks for all the welcome posts and offers of help and advice!
Very much appreciated!
