Can't log in on home computer
72TWINCAB - August 11th, 2003 at 09:27 AM

I have just had my home computer fixed, but am unable to log onto the forum with it.

I am posting this message from my work computer. I have no problems logging in on it.

Is there any reason for this happening and what should I do to get my home computer to work?

Thanks,

Bill

Best guess follows:
This forum uses 'cookies'* to enable you to automatically login; as you have had your home PC repaired, the cookies might have been cleaned; in this case you just need to manually log in at home and subsequent logins will be automatic.

* a cookie is just a bit of information stored on your hard disk

Will give it a go when I get home. Hope it works. Not much fun being able to look at the forum and not being able to post:cry

Can you make sure you're using the correct forum's address:

that helps a great deal.
