greeting from cork ireland

hi
this is my first time on this site
its great to read about a huge aircooled family down under
i have a 73 beetle which i rebuilt over 3 years great project
a vw bug from oz came in to cork in a container last week
it had a sign on the front hood KIT KAT red colour
i will post a pic to see do any remember seeing it

Welcome tonyvw,

Cork is a beautiful part of the world. My grandfather Rowan [mother's father], came from Cork.....around 120 years ago!

We don't hear much about EIRE down here...

My ancestors came from over there too...

Luckily We don't have the major rust problems of other countries...

is Your Beetle a Non Super or 1303 Super beetle??

I know 1300 Non Supers were common over your way..
