Ok, I was driving home from work on Friday and there was a little bug in front of me. Caught up to him on Burwood Highway neer Blackburn road and then we drove next to each other until he turned off at Templeton st, just before Stud rd.
We locked eyes and smiled and he was ............ beautiful!!!!
Just saying hi, if its anyone here.:kiss

*did* - October 28th, 2003 at 04:46 PM

It could have been me, if my beetle was on the road :(

Theres a good chance I was in the area, after all, Ive been in nearly everyones area lately,
and I often make "eyes" at lady beetle drivers:D
But only really been described as "hot" due to profuse sweating on a hot day.:D

Oh dude!!! *shakes head* LOL... I did'nt even pick up on that pun, and I always pick up on the tragic ones. :P

You can count me out, no license, no cream bug!

Do you remember if it was a late model, early. Stock, modified, any of that? That should narrow it down abit

jenz58 - October 28th, 2003 at 09:32 PM

Not me either!!!!:D

Lot's of nice cream bugs around in the 'EAST' but can never get a good look at the driver most times.

I know one of them is not a cute guy, that's for sure;) lol

byronbus - October 28th, 2003 at 09:39 PM

I've got a cream bug, but live in Byron...ah well, one day i'll take her to melbourne

LittleMissHerbina - October 29th, 2003 at 09:28 AM

I agree, the sex appeal triples by the fact that people drive a VW. This boy had a white long sleeve top on with a t'shirt over the top and he looked to be about 20ish?? I think he was still a P plater. Dont remember much about the car but he was beautiful and such a cheeky grin!!!!!:kiss

STUD ROAD!!!! thats the kind of jokes my dad pulls!!!!!

byronbus - October 29th, 2003 at 10:32 AM

Ah well...way too young to be me, although I feel 20ish when driving around in my beetle :D

LittleMissHerbina - October 30th, 2003 at 08:42 AM

I spotted him again last night. He is a P plater,
dont know what model. Maybe early 70's.
Rego: QUT:P
Got so excited but i couldnt quite catch him.:kiss

squizy - October 30th, 2003 at 09:07 AM

You'll have to keep us posted on your exploits, and whether you meet your dream boy!:kiss My gosh it could turn into a soap opera.

Ha!

Good luck avid hunter!

Squiz.....

56astro - October 30th, 2003 at 07:53 PM

Does this look like him?

jenz58 - October 30th, 2003 at 09:54 PM

I love Astro Boy:bounce:bounce

That reminds me I gotta go stick the hair back on my black Rio Carnaval cupie doll key ring:o

Hmmm, minds work in wonderous ways:D

jenz58 - November 2nd, 2003 at 01:15 PM

Every time I see a cream beetle in Melbourne and especially the eastern burb's I think of this post and check the driver out a bit more than I'd usually do!!!!

Have seen one or two with P plates and driver cute both times:)

Maybe we should start carrying signs with us, to hold up, saying to contact you online here on the forum????;)

Or stick flyers under the wipers of any P plated cream beetle we see parked:thumb

How do you feel like having us embarrass you??:D

There are so many beetles, kombi's & Type 3's I cross paths with every day as we to and fro from where ever we go each day at regular times, for me it's to work.

There's a woman near here who shuttles her kids around in a kombi. The other morning we crossed paths about 4 times. The last time was when I was heading off to work and we were turning at the same intersection. We both cracked up and waved madly at each other!!!
