I live in engadine as well!
My non vw-lover friend keeps telling me about a splitty he sees while he delivers pizzas. I have never seen it.
what config. and colour is yours?

hi ash, daisy is a 67 phantom purple and off white 11 window van that is full of character.... or is it just plain temperamental!. i always wanted one and finally treated my self but then realised that it is not the perfect form of transport for a 6 foot 7 person...(hence its a weekend warrior) never the less its not going anywhere .took me long enough to find one that was worth spending the time and$$$$ on. as for your friend am pretty sure that he/she works for pizza hut, the neighbours in the street love their pizza ! whats your wheels so i can keep a sharper eye out for it!:thumb

I saw a great metallic green bus in Alexandria advertising an energy drink.. My crewcab will be used to advertise a sports company.. The pix attached is my panel which is used for mobile advertising for Easts Rugby..

I know your bus! i remember seeing it getting some attention at the mechanic near mc donalds.

My mate delivers for pizza hut and drives an 83 honda civic wagon, its blue with black hubcaps. The car has quite a reputation throughout engadine!

At the moment i am driving a white 82 mercedes 280te wagon. But hopefully i will have my martini olive 76 passat wagon on the road, the only hitch is a 71 camper that has taken my fancy!
Its a decision between 3.5k and 20mpg for the camper or 1k and 35 mpg for the passat. Dilemmas dilemmas.

Geez, I grew up there too. Just before my parent's had the tip top idea to move to the boonies in Qld.

Used to live on Mountain St in the '70s early '80s. Don't suppose you guys are the same generation?
