Nice Kombi Couple

HEY!!!

arsn and I were driving toward Brisbane on the pacific highway and came across a really nice bright orange, late 70's model bay, with the loviest couple driving her..They looked like groovers.... The bus had a little skull sticker on the back window..we thought that they may have been coming back from valla
The girl gave us the BIGGEST grin and the peace sign and we crusied with them for about 20 mins until we got off at the Springwood exit...
Anyone here?
Just wanted to say THANKS for your smiles and happy energy, cause I was getting a bit disheartened with all the kombi drivers of late ignoring us when we wave and smile like mad people... you have restored my faith HOORAY!

When I read the title of this thread I thought it sounded like an ad for swingers! LMAO

I love it when other VW drivers wave at us when in the kombi.

i get the biggest rush when i see one comming and they get the wave, i also get depressed when they dont wave!! I also find that often beetles dont wave at kombis, what's the go with that!!

yeah she hjad shiny mags allllright... she looked very very loved.

Ha ha coop girl... i never thought of trawling for Vee dub swingers here....prehaps I should!! ;)

I wish more kombi drivers would wave here at the Goldie... most do but there are a few that actually scowl at you and I seemed to be getting a fair amount of them lately!!
