FOR SALE Beetles X 4 Burwood Hwy

3 beetles lined up looking very pretty in a old car dealer place on burwood hwy (near maccas...but on opposite side) there was also a vw transporter i think next to them.....would of stopped to have a look but was stuck in peak hour traffic :(

There was a later bug with a sale sign on it...a sweet looking black bug (early 60s) and can't remember the other one! Anyone there own them? seen them?

I have seen the burgundy coloured one in the Penfold Mazda dealer in Burwood Hwy. Polished porsche wheels, very shiny and nice!

I was driving down the Burwood Hwy yesterday and spotted the very same 3 beetles....very nice and clean looking from the road

4 there now :D love it when they multiply... haven't seen the burgendy one...these are a little further along then the mazda dealer... (heading towards PLC) might stop by tomorrow to have a look...,

I've seem them there too! I only saw the white one with S plates though... Looked pretty dam clean!

where abouts on burwood hwy? i always drive from stud Rd to springy rd on burwood..

as you are driving towards spingvale rd... they are on the left after all the car dealers ... (near maccas) but they are before PLC...I passed by them without seing them for a couple of days so they are easy to miss... they are behind a locked fence...looks a bit like a old car dealership...

I checked it out yesterday. Volkspower owns the dealership.

The oval in Penfold Mazda is definitely not worth 26k or whatever they wanted, best things about it are the 16" fuchs wheels, stainless dual mufflers, adjustable beam (top and bottom) and the interior has been reupholstered. The shifter is aftermarket and looks pretty crap to me. The engine is most likely an 1835cc, as had kads and was built by AVWPC.
I should tell them they're dreaming!

yeah i think they need a couple people to laugh in their face... I didn't see it in the window when i drove past today...shame to see a nice bug sitting in a dealership for so long.

One of my students is after a 1971 beetle in roadworthy condition so he can customise the interior. He can collect from sydney to brissy for $1000. f he doesn't come up trumps soon I will kick him out. Care factor 13%

I saw this place last week.....there was a Herbie there as well....don't usually drive that way..... in heavy traffic n rain......my head swung around to look a second time though....
