Thats me! i was down at harvey normans buying a new bedroom suite! could have thought of better ways to spend the $$$$$ but the minister of war and finance dictated otherwise.
then to add insult not only was my pocket $$$$$ lighter but then i had to assemble it!
the Kombi's name is Daisy, and has had quite a work out over summer! Even though its got not air con or radio, we zipped round the Sutherland Shire all hols!

no not bondi, about 40 mins south near cronulla. There is one in Kings cross, near bondi that has a similar paint scheme it has the hippy look! with painted hearts etc on it! looks cool though

I met a couple from The States who were telling me they had some friends who live in Bondi that were painting it a similar colour scheme so thought that might be it.
Looks fantastic.Can i ask which purple you used as i'm going for the newish phantom ford purple & yours from my monitor looks very similar.

i can ask the painter if he knows the colour, it was purple when i bought it , i think he just mixed'n'matched to get it similar to the old paint. i got it painted cause i used it for my wedding(wanted it to hold its own against the 3 hired Bentleys)if you like i will dig up some daylight pics to post..... i mean i will get the wife to!
I know the Ford colour your talking about, mine is not metalic its kind of like grimace purple.

Your ride looks very schmick, I love the colour scheme too, I don't think I would've considered purple but having seen that I might have to reconsider, that of course, is when I paint my car in the year 2134.
