rarest camper in Aus!

spent an hour talking to he owner of probably the rarest camper in Aus (possibly only one in aus), a 70s model kombi transformed into a cab/caravan by a major south african firm who's name escapes me

there's one in noosa and one at bondi that i know of..look cool on the inside though..cross winds will give a bit of a scare!! cheers steve

yeah, its the guy from bondi who i talked to, or at least the guy who bought it from the guy in bonti a while back, yeah crosswinds would definitely be scarey, also only sits on 80kph on the freeway :o

Kemperink, a Dutch company made similar ones, generally from Split Window Kombi Singlecabs.

nope, t'was the one without the cab - over sleeping area, identical otherwise though, except one of the rear vents was mounted back to front :duh

There was an elderly couple in Tas a few months back from South Aust with a beige bay (not cab over). Could be that one.volma1 Ask 62 deluxe for pic as my only pic is on my mobile camera.volma1
