I was traveling from Nowra to Orange Via the blue mountins yesterday (11/8/05) . Just out of Nowra I think, we spotted a truck with two VW's on it after a nasty case of punch buggy we had a close look.
1: was a pale blue ovel in origanal unrestored condition, and looked great, faded but all there.
2: was a brown rear split window beatle. again looked original unresored condition. was missing some glass but was straight.

We stoped at Leura for a break with family and then at Hartly we passed the truck again headed towards Bathurst.

Does anyone own these 2 gems or know the story
