sounds like my brother inlaw!
lift kit + flat 6 subaru 2.7L.
i DONT MIND TAKING THE CREDIT FOR BUILDING IT.
Also tell your g/f that the builder of this fine beast is far easier on the eyes than the driver!!!!!:kiss

If it is your brother in law tell him that it rocks. you must know a bit about kombis if you built it. what does the sticker on the back mean? i didnt catch it all but it was something that starts with "she".

u must have tickets on yourself if u think your better on the eyes.

by the way, can u also see if you can get a pic of it posted?

Will work on the pic.
No tickets just better looking!
The sticker is Shermann, as in shermann tank, he came out of a corolla into this so to him it was massive, hence the name.
What do you drive and are you located in penrith?nn[ Edited on 13-8-05 by blkovl ]

Shermann Tank- great thinking because it does look like a tank. I drive an older beat up kombi but it still goes ok and is reliable most of the time. Im from Newcastle but was down visiting some friends a few weeks back. Im a big fan of kombis- not as interested in beetles as they are not as practical. what do you drive?

daily driver is a ford transit van. sorry but work pays for it, and they supply the fuel so its a little hard to argue.
I have a 67 bug thats on here for sale, and i/we are just starting a 59 split bus project. cant fit 2 bikes in a beetle.
My wife has a 56 oval, cant sell oval or kombi but 5 cars is too many for 2. so the 67 must go.

what are you thinking of doing to the 59 split kombi?

Lots!
Will be daily driver. lowered etc. nice motor possibly auto as it will be driven in traffic and am sick of clutch probs. cant give away too much but will be built to suit us. gloss paint lots of chrome, and able to bagg up the rears with no trouble!
