If it's the one I'm thinking of it's just been put back on the road after a full resto. I was in Coastal Collision Repair in Maroochydore a couple of weeks ago and they were just re-trimming it after having completed the spray job. Wayne who owns the place was telling me it belongs to a local guy who is going to use it as a daily driver.
Should be seeing a lot more of it around.

By the way Mate- look up Wayne at CCR next time you get a chance. He's a real VW nut and does some good work.
