Restored but painted purple

I spotted a purple beetle at Beresfield Round a bout turn to go to Sydney, same shape as mine (late 60's or early 70's?) that had a new modern paint job and the rest was all restored. Original tires, bumpers had been re chromed, it only need a new tail lights and it would have been almost complete!! :tu:

Someone ran into Sherbie in a carpark the other day
bent my front bumper I am pissed as they didn't even
own up too it they just drove off :(

i know someone that saw somebody run into her car in a car park once, she ran over to the woman who attempted to drive off and confronted her... the other woman's reply was thats what bumpers are for...

I saw a pre 68 purple beetle this morning around warners bay ??? I was half a sleep on the way to work with a young girly driving but it had wide 5 brms on it and was motoring along very well
