Hello !
On my way home last night i saw a very very cool bug driving up Erskinville Road then saw it again parked outside the Rose of Australia Hotel in Erskineville - looked white with a burgundy racing stripe, roof racks and back wheels covered and possibly red/burgundy interior ! It looked very sweet !

Anybody know if it lives in the area?

if you are interested i know of a 1973 super beetle that has 12 months rego near new tyres and apparently no rust.
it is in drumoin in sydney.

thanks for your comments, i think the old girl is a bit ruff ... but she it very solid / no rust what so ever ! ... and is still running the original motor.... not bad for a daily driver that was built in 57.

OMG !!!! YAY at last !!! I was getting scared you'd think I was stalking you ! I saw your bug parked outside The Rose again last Thursday and I also saw you last night on King Street ! I absolutely melt everytime I see your bug !!!! It is sooooo cool ! Excellent ! I will build up enough courage and come and say hi next time for sure !!

flog the laser quick... every day you wait it depriciates yet those fun loving body melting heart stopping vw's are appreciating. and being in sydney the sooner you have your baby the better the drive in peak hour.

i noticed how much nicer everybody was when i was driving around in the bus. they would happily let you change lanes, wave to you and even chat at lights. amazing who you would meet on the daily grind to work.

You don't need to stir the pot twoguns it's simmering and about to over flow already !!!! I have my task list already written down..thing is i am going O/S in a couple of months so i'm planning on selling the laser before i leave then come back, get a loan and buy a cool late 50's early 60's bug !!

Where abouts are u going OS u may be able to find some nice rare parts and put them on ur bug like 2 Guns said so check that list

I'd go for some Eyelids, Hubcaps, whitewalls, and some other rare goodies

Mmm..i hadn't thought of that..i was kinda hopping i'd find that special bug with all included - I'm going to Peru, Argentina and Spain
