Had a weekend in Sydney recently, always have my camera handy. Took the kids to soccer on Saturday coming back into Sydney on the H'way
spotted this nice straight 73 with wide wheels.

Daughter took the pic and the driver gave us a nice wave, friendly folk VW people!

A blue Beetle before the blurred Aussie bush, beautiful! (Sorry couldn't help myself) Pic taken in the early afternoon on Saturday 21/5/11.

I would imagine many Sydney people would have been past this place, all late model Beetles with a Kombi camper, a couple of buggies and a boat!



This place always looks closed anyone know the story, looks like it used to be a VW workshop?

The blue bug won a trophy at the Nats.

I used to work at the place above about 25 years ago, the last time I spoke to the owner he had retired.
