whats a good way to fill seams that i have had to wire brush original tar crap out of??

Get some seam sealer from the local panel beater supply shop. Squirt it on and smooth it off with your finger, wipe off excess with some presol on a rag.
so any brand is fine??

I think any brand would be OK there probally made by the same place anyway and packaged in another wrapper
Use the least amount possible and it will work fine... Its only made to fill the small gaps or the seams on say your roof fold on the gutter of a
Beetle.
Its called Drip-chek from memory KK. Excellent stuf but do make sure that area is very clean+dry. Clean with wax+grease remover.

What areas or seams are you going to fill
in the wheel arch's of a kombi where the seam of the body meets the floor it had some rust there on the top skin so i wire brushed it all out and
cleaned up the area and want to fill it up again
