MY VEHICLE I/D PLATE ON THE 67 bEETLE IS VERY RATTY. COME TO THINK OF MOST OF CAR WAS THAT WAY.
ANYHOW CAN SOME GUIDE ME WHO TO CONTACT AND GET A REPLACEMENT TAG.
sEEING AS i AM REPLACING THE RUSTED PANELS WITH NEW. MAY AS WELL PUT A NEW SHINY TAG.:thumb:thumb

Forget it. You wil have to polish your old one

You carnt buy an ID tag. Not available clean up the old one as it has the chassis number stamped on it

i conntacted the RTA because i puchased a 69 kombi found out it didnt have one, they said as long as the number is clearly visable on the chassis the plate was not reqired that is only for cars before august 72 then u requre a compliance plate but u dont have to worry yours is a 67 your laughing
