My panel has had a previous repair on the nose. How can you remove the lead out of the repair so I can pull the dent out.:bounce

An oxy torch will do the job. Make sure that the flame is 'soft' so as not to warp the steel.

You can sand it out using an orbital sander with 36 grit paper, and it wont sand the steel, only the lead.

Wear a dust mask though, as the lead dust is toxic if inhaled.

you can remove the lead by sanding or by using the oxy. the idea of the oxy is to get the lead so it looks like it is sweating then using a wire brush to brush it out, you will still have to sand it a little bit.
