Has anyone here had any experience with folding sheet metal, am looking at fabricating some panels for my Country Buggy and was wanting to do them
myself. I know a firm that does the folding quite reasonably, but it is way more convenient if I was able to do it myself. The folds are all 45-90
degrees and everything seems simple enough.
Was thinking about buying a panbrake to tackle the task, which I saw on the net was around the $450 mark, no doubt for a basic version.
Anyone have any ideas ???

you could make your own panbrake if your even gamer, but buying one would be a good investment, things like that hold their value. As long as the
folds arent to close together (more than the top blade thickness) you should be write, especially if its only 45&90 degree folds.
you havent already got a red buggy do you? i dont know if i talked to you at the street sprints?hope i helped.
Yep, we spoke at Gatton, have just gotten back from Qld Raceway with the vee, had a mixed day, car was going fine but a mate borrowed it (the guy you
met with the Holden open wheeler- he seized his engine) and snapped the accelerator cable on the vee, although we did a temp fixit job, it couldnt get
full throttle, so bought it home, will take a spare cable in future.
Will do some more research on the folders when the shops open, that should give me a good idea on which way to go.
