Vinyl spray seems to work pretty good
helbus - June 7th, 2004 at 10:55 PM

I sprayed the back seat of the beetle on the weekend with some vinyl spray. I changed it from red to black to go with the rest of the interior.

I must say I was actually surprised at how well it came up and how resilient it seems.

I had a real work on the dub day.

-I replaced a battery terminal,
-painted the back seat & fitted it
-fitted a new petrol flap release handle WCM
-put carpet on the board that sits in the front luggage compartment.
-replaced both headlight wiring tubes WCM

yep will work OK.

if you want it to take to your rubber fetish stuff, you'll need to roughen the surface a bit.

use you teeth bad boy........

Viponds paints in Bankstown has all the good gear for vinyl paint they sell paint, prep, and etch for Vinyl, stick it in your own spray gun, I have sprayed headlinings with this stuff and with a good gun you can achieve a very good result
