Matt, Whilst you have it open, get in there and replace the accelerator linkage, and the brake return spring, and grease up all the pedal pivots.

I just had to do this on my 71 and now I have a smooth pedal and have got rid of the annoying squeak each time I used to brake!

Looking good and its nice to see a thorough job.
