you can get 2 pack fibreglass filler from most auto shops (Bursons, Repco et al..)

we use it in work for fixing crappy fibreglass kits that most youngsters have on their rice racers.

Its sandable and best finished with a thin skim of 2 pack bog, then fill in any pinholes with fine filler, finish of with 180grit then feather with 240. then primer and spray!

Hope that helps.

The best stuff to use for filling fibreglass is a filler called 'Balloons', it is powder based and you add it to the fbreglass resin (Vinyl, Polyester or epoxy) and make it to whatever consistancy you like to work with, wait over night then sand. This filler not only seals but adds strength back to the damaged fibreglass. This stuff is available rom a wholesaler such as 'RF fibreglass sales' or 'Saint-Gobain Vetrotex'

Hey N,

I have to get more supplies this week so I'll find out what you need.
I use Soudal bodyfiller and happy with it...

I've got a boat with some chips in the gel coat.
What can I use that wont require to much sanding and no painting.
Don't want to ruin the finish around it.
