"We will jointly do comparative [product] testing at an accredited independent lab. The loser pays all testing costs and the winner may use the test results in their advertising..."

That's confidence...!

I've also heard that shit is the best, will be using it from now on.

ruckus - August 25th, 2005 at 06:05 PM

How does it compare price-wise?

VolksFolks - August 25th, 2005 at 06:35 PM

possibly about 20% dearer, a better quality product makes it more $$

Andy

shit is the shiet? nocomprendy senour

cost to be advised, this is because its a flammable/hazardous product, and customs/freight companies charge massively for this type of product, but we hope it to be very reasonable indeed

Funny that...

Thier own publicity puts it at the same price per gallon as POR 15 and substantially less for full prep job.

byronbus - August 25th, 2005 at 08:45 PM

Id be happy to pay more for a better product...

VolksFolks - August 25th, 2005 at 08:48 PM

Importing cost money Matt, especially hazardous liquid! we are not in the US!

HotRodMatt - August 25th, 2005 at 08:55 PM

POR15 is imported too.

ctefeh - September 1st, 2005 at 09:51 AM

I'll try it. Let me know when it's available! Got some floorpan work coming up.....

Sulla - September 18th, 2005 at 08:18 PM

If this stuff is available for around 20% more, put me on your list too!

Por-15 is great stuff, but by the time you prep your surface (remove all rust and then marine clean), convert the rust (metal ready) and then apply the final coats it costs a lot more than the basic product. I look forward to trying this! Thanks VF!

Zimblewinder - September 24th, 2005 at 11:39 AM

Hi Guys, Ive got this stuff all over the inside and underside of my 23. It was really easy to apply though I sprayed it, and its as tough as nails. Ill be priming over it and topcoating the underside and where necessary around window frames and pillars etc but itll be just Bullet in most areas inside. The only thing it doesnt like is a bit of heat on the reverse of panels. For example there was one area I had a little surface rust to polish off so foolishly I ran the grinder over it with a 3m disc. The bullet bubbled away on the inside as youd expect. Good thing is if you scrub it back to metal the new coat will cover up pretty well. Look for my pics in another thread.

Cheers
