These are usually "once only" clips and dificult to remove.
However I have had some success by gently lifting one side of the clip with a small flat blade screwdriver, then rotate the clip anticlockwise using needle nose pliers. The aim is to gouge a spriral thread in the trim pin to wind the clip off.

you could take it to supercheap auto, and ask for some "speed nuts" i used them on my mudflaps, till i hit reverse and they ripped off

after a trip to super cheap auto and help from the guy next door the trim is now back on thanks 4 ur help guys
