All,
The battery tray and some surrounds has to be replaced due to chronic rust and holes. I don't have to replace the entire quarter pan, but will be cutting the replacement quarter pan to fit.

The question for those that have gone before me is which is the preferred method?

I'd like to do it once and do it right!

To do it once and right, butt weld it. Just remember the old body work adage - measure three times and cut once..... not the other way around.
