Does anyone know where I can buy outer door skins for my 1956 Beetle, and if anyone has fitted them ? I heard the danish ones need alot of work to suit.

I havent seen a early door skin for years... I know later model ones are available but they will need fitting to suit pretty close and proablly better than starting with a flat sheet of metal
Im trying to weigh up the cost of working the old doors back to shape, or cutting the old skins off and putting new ones on or getting another set of doors, all this grief because i got my doors sandblasted and they warped the s**t ot of them because they didnt know what they were doing. An expensive lesson learned the hard way, so kiddies dont sandblast your doors, or the skins anyway.
