This pic sorta has it, on the bonnet, Not sure if u can make it out, but if anyone gets my drift, about thoes vents cut into hoods or decklids, taht
are usually on rods/muscles etc. If u got a clearer pic, that would be awesome.
But... i'm interested to know, how do they do that?

it came with em already in it.. looks like they used a punch of sorts..
good luck man..
cheers paul
They are "punched" in with a press. On the ram or lever is the punch, on the bottom a die,Put the panel between the two, pull a long handle and you
get the desired louvre. You can change the punch and die to get longer, deeper ect.
You can sometimes come across them at swapmeets.I have seen guys that'll do it for you there. Its cool if ya happen to stumble across a cheap vw rear
lid and for $40 or$50 bucks have some louvres cut into it.
You never can have too many rear lids.
Some custom bodywork shops would have a louvre press.
YES, that is what i am looking at ! :P Nice. Paul, that is to die for!
thanks lohoon will keep an eye open!
at trade school we had a press that could make the vents .so try a local trade school.
Oz Rods on Moss St, Slacks Creek can do louvres. Not too far from you Chris
They charge per stamping, but I can't remember how much it was.
loox sweet
