How do you know? We dont know why he needs them wider. Try Australian Volkswagen Performance Centre in Croydon, or Volkommen Art in Clayton.

I will have some aero style rear gaurds to suit early bugs soon(not the big tail light). I cut about 1 inch from the body straight through the gaurd, spaced it 6cm all the way, held it in the right position and fiberglassed it. skim with bog and alot of sanding and there is your wide gaurd.

talking about fiber glass can anyone tell me how to use it? for the fenders and any other custom application?

make your shape then ether cover with glad wrap or use a release agent, paint the resin on then lay the matt on and cover with more resin making sure you get adequate coverage ie the matt goes clear and there is no air bubbles as they weaken the final product

there is also the way of having a matting area, where you have you matt cut in appropriate shapes and paint each side of them roughly and quickly so they are wet when you lay them in place. then you just puch in place with the brush to expel the bubbles. that way you will be actually removing resign as the brush soakes it up. this will make the end product stronger as it is the fibre matt that gives the combo the strength.
