plastic or real metal? I hear Mr. Sheen works wonders on new beetles.

vanderaj - May 4th, 2003 at 04:38 PM

Nice one, fish!

The bumper below the wheel arch is plastic. The wheel arch and bonnet are metal.

Mr Sheen works well on any car with a clear coat. It's the same sort of stuff as the Diamond Glaze I use. However you need to be careful of using it around plastic surfaces.

I use a Back to Black thingy to make the plastic surfaces look better than new, and I use a tyre dressing to get the wet look on the tyres.

yeah but i dont want to drive it on the road every day

I put it on historic vintage redgo.... and YES its nice to drive starting to loosen up a bit with 300 miles on it...

the gearbox is a buggar its bloody tight as not use to that in a VW... adjusted the fuel with analyiser the other day n it cruises nice now.
opened the main jet out to 130 and the air idle to 60

the pics dont show the true colour ...
