I am keen to know if anyone uses a specific type of seam sealant/putty that they recommend and where to get it from???

most auto shops like auto one or super cheap have it on the shelf

theres seamsealer and also drip chek

use the drip chek in small joint like along the roof gutter

the seamsealer is used in a wider area

wurths as dear as poison ,you could bye sickaflex its the best
