REFERRAL NEEDED - Cheap SE QLD respray+panel mob or freelancer/garage handiman
bajachris88 - October 11th, 2007 at 10:42 PM

I got a baja, want nuffin but a simple gloss white acrylic paint job. Panel beating on the car needs to be rwc including rust repair. its not a show car, doesn't need to look very pretty, and i dont' care if it don't last more than 5 yrs. (no less though, paint needs to stick on atleast).

I got money. throw me an offer (for free lancers and garage enthusiasts wanting money), or a please if you know anyone or any mob who is in SE QLD who you rekon would be up to the task, then please give me a referral. thankyou.

Its drivable, and i can arrange towing.

thankyou,
Christopher.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I thought i would ask here for references cause i got a nasty surprise today.

Went to my first paint and panel shop today to get a rough ball park or what prices are around these days...

the fella was showing me one of his projects he was doing right now... the rust was similar.. nothing more than a few pin holes, a few dings here and there, and the rare and few 20c piece holes...

this was on a holden ute.. involving nothing more than panel beating and paint.

HE WAS WANTING $15,000 TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!!!

Cheers mate, yea i sorta been hiding in the shadows, just getting a few other things back together, and now i just wanna get this baja out of the way and enjoy it. I need to drive something with a bit more character than the ricer celica i own.

Haha wish i did live closer, i got some bitz and pieces i could share as well... alot of stuff i don't need. how many hrs south of the qld border are ya mate? :D

Yea lol, das dubber would do tooooo good of a job haha.

& yea I only wanna pay a cheap one cause i want a cheap quality job. otherwise i will be too over protective to take the car on any dirt at all and it would defy the point of making it a baja in the first place haha.
