The area I'm concerned with is near the rear wheel arch, where the fender bolts onto the body. I got to weld in a new patch with a bolt hole.

Its 1.0mm on the bit I cut out of my '54 the other day

Thanks for that bigfella, I don't have a caliper or micrometer handy, so I only had a rough guesstimate ...
