I was just curious if anyone knew what the color PURPLE on the new BA falcon is?? and also if you can possibly give me your opinion of the color if placed on a bug WITH a pinkish pearl clear over the top???

yeah, firsat off the pinbk would be very light, and very subtle, but an example of a car on which i have seen this acheived is on Frak Cassars 1940 Ford Coupe, which is a top 10 summernats entrant.

I had a look on the paint code plate on the ba falcon and the code they had was
P3
RR ax
I hope this helps. http://www.standox.com.au  I have been told that you might be able to get the colour mix off it.

thanks so much guys, i think it would too, but i plan to put a pink clear coat pearl over the top so it will look like the pic below...

Smick pic - love the idea. I'm for the pink pearl. Blue I agree would look noce but with rims and character like that the pink would not be an over statement.

Not to heavy, not to light ...

Just goto the service department of your local Ford dealer, they'll be able to tell you on the spot. I've done this before with colour codes.:thumb
