just a couple of queustions to ask..i have been repairing some small rust sections on my beetle using por 15 products and also got some paint matched up in spray cans 4 me.

how do u get the repaired area that u have sprayed to try and blend in as best as possible with the excisting paint?

i have sprayed a few sections already . i masked them off then sprayed them. but when i rip the masked area all off i have that raised edge of new paint too sand back to try and blend back in to the old paint, but when doing so im also sanding part of the old paint then u can see a light sanded area oround the repaired section???

i tried polishing it out with cut n polish but didnt make much difference..

The only way to get it better is to use better paint with better equipment and have more experience. There is no easy way that can just be explained quickly. Just keep doing it and practising, maybe invest in a small touchup spraygun and small compressor and learn more.

We have painters at work that can blend in the middle of a black bonnet and it is finished so that it is undetectable even under flouro lights in a showroom. It is the quality of the paint, equipment and tradesman that do it.

The paint also won't stick (long term) to the POR15 unless you use their tie coat.
