fixing scratches

hi i just brought a new bug and she has a few scratches in her paintwork where rocks have hit her

they're starshaped like the cracks u sometimes get in ur windshield

how do i fix them?

sounds like fiberglass cracks to me, and tbh i wouldnt have a clue! but bump for anyone that might kno!!

Where on the bug is the paint damage? If it is on the fenders, it may be from stones thrown up from the wheels. Do you have pictures?

In all honesty, there is no way to repair cracks in paint if it is cracked. It will need sanding to bare metal, the high spot in the metal repaired if there is one, the dent repaired if there is one, and then the panel repainted.

This is all relative to the level of quality you require. If you can live with few chips and cracks, then economically the best option is to leave it.
