sandblasting? sydney

hey guys recently started beetle project taken apart car got some serious rust problem areas the car is 45 years old in all fairness ive sanded most of the outside back to bare metal take me at least another 2 weeks to finish, im not going to even try with the interiour was thinking of getting it sandblasted anyone know where i could get this done in the sydney area and a recomended vw pannel beater would be handy to thanks guys

Don't sand blast your panels, as sand is way to rough for it. The operator will more than likely buckle them.
you'd want something softer like walnut shells, garnet etc, plus the pressure would have to be low to keep any heat out of the panels.

Use paint stripper for the big panels and leave the blasting to areas like door jambs, or where it's to difficult to get at.

garnet is sand and comes in varieties of grade.

agreed it might be a bit too full on for panels and cause warping but thats down to the pressure used, how quickly the operator moves around etc

soda blasting is being used a fair bit on cars. i havent seen the results personally but ive heard mixed things.
