This is my country buggy.
I am getting my kombi project sodablasted.
From what i have heard it is the best method.
The only disadvantage is that is does not remove rust,
so sandblasting in selected areas is needed.
I got quoted roughly $2,000 for my kombi.(roughly without looking at it)
Hope that helps.
Thanks Guys, will follow up on the leads.
I used Jason and must say I was impressed. He had the Ghia collected and delivered back in under a week. all for $2000 Body & Pan inside and out. Now my one owner looks a little worse for ware as it has uncovered some expected rust spots. I have Chris Rolfe from Innovative Body Works coming over to have a look, I want a number of little things done to it beside the rust,, but the rust around the headlights might make my decision to go with early model headlight buckets a bit easier?
Reckon you have done REALLY well if that is all that turned up
Looks great!
Hi
A question about soda blasting. Is the soda applied wet or dry?

Are there any soda blasters in Brisbane ....anyone know????
Soda blasting is applied dry, and has to be final washed off with warm water. Then the surface Deoxidined.
If you don't wash it with warm water, then primers will not stick properly.
