How much paint do I need to coat a bug? I have already undercoated it and
I'll probably be using acrylic paint. I’m just after an idea of how much colour and clear I need.

4 litres would be more than enough.

Get 4 litres of clear as well.

It is plenty enough, and you will have spare for touchups etc in future.

More economical in 4 litres too.

A 20 litre tin of thinners will give you plenty for the job too.
